Fix iPhone 11 Pro Max Won't Turn On
The iPhone 11 Pro Max accidentally dropped to the ground, unfortunately it couldn't be turned on, and the back cover glass was also broken. Now we have to solve the problem of iPhone 11 Pro Max not turning on.
Use screwdriver to remove the screws at the bottom of the iPhone screen, put the iPhone 11 Pro Max on the screen separating machine for heating, and then use screen opening tools to open the iPhone 11 Pro Max screen.
Connect the iPhone 11 Pro Max motherboard to the DC power supply to observe the boot current of the iPhone, after measurement, the current is 100mA, the iPhone won't turn on.
Remove the iPhone display assembly, disconnect the iPhone battery, and then take out the iPhone 11 Pro Max motherboard.
Use SS-T12A heating station to separate the iPhone motherboard, use tweezers to take out the upper layer.
Now test the iPhone logic part motherboard to check if it can turn on or not, after testing, the current is 80mA, the iPhone can't be turned on.
Because the iPhone was damaged by a drop, we suspect that the iPhone CPU is a virtual weld, now we are going to reinstall the iPhone CPU.
Attach the iPhone motherboard to a PCB holder fixture, use hot air gun and BGA removal blade to remove the iPhone CPU.
Apply some solder paste to the solder pad, use SUGON T16 Soldering Station to clean the solder pad. Reballing the iPhone CPU, apply some solder paste to the solder pad, and then install the iPhone CPU back to the motherboard.
When the motherboard is cooled, test the motherboard to check if it can boot or not. After testing, the Apple logo appears normally and then it gets into IOS system.
Now install the iPhone 11 Pro Max motherboard, and then assemble the iPhone, press the power button, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is turned on successfully, the iPhone 11 Pro Max boot failure has been fixed!
